Parker Staging Wants to Design a Better World

Parker Staging and its affiliated businesses started with a simple idea. The idea that you can build a business based on building communities. The company’s founder, Tiffany Parker’s, inspiration has always been how to marry her commitment to community service with the desire to have a profitable and successful business. Prior to Parker, Tiffany served as Chairperson for Thrive DC and the Dinner Program for Homeless Women, as well as volunteering for So Other Might Eat (SOME) and Capital Education Partners.

Since 2009, Tiffany has been focused on growing a successful staging business and she is now proud to be able to claim that Parker Staging is one of the largest home staging companies in the United States based in the Washington DC region. As the CEO, Tiffany leads a team that oversees the execution of over 380 stagings every year. She manages over 10,000 square feet of furniture, accessories, lighting, rugs, art, and greenery which are all used to stage homes.

The success of Parker Staging means that Tiffany now has the ability to use that success to give back and support the success of others.

In addition to providing affordable, quality stagings, Parker Staging is connecting the dots between design and community.

Our passion is using design and furniture resources to DESIGN A BETTER WORLD.

Through our education initiative, after-market retail sales and our charity, Design Heals, Parker Staging seeks to make a difference in people's lives

Parker’s Staging Education program is designed to help people reach their maximum potential. We believe that people need to identify their passions and talents and look for ways to nurture and utilize them. Our staging education initiative is designed to create a space for people to experiment with, identify and grow their talents. We define passion as work that is satisfying and creates a sense of contribution and fulfillment.

Backstage offers stagers, designers and builders solutions for responsibly decommissioning their inventory and project furnishings. Every year, over 8.5 million tons of furniture waste is created in the United States. Only 20% of furniture sent to landfills can be recycled or used for energy recovery. At Backstage, we aim to reduce the amount unusable furniture waste by providing a venue for stagers, designers, builders and others with short-term furniture needs to resell and recycle furniture, art and decor once it is no longer usable for their inventory.

Design Heals is an Independent 501c3 focused on using design and furniture to improve lives and create homes. To date, furniture and design donations have been made to domestic violence survivors, homeless shelters, refugees and foster children. Design Heals is a volunteer-run organization that accepts donations and projects year-round. 10% of every staging fee at Parker Staging goes toward Design Heals.

Parker Staging is more than a staging company. We are a company committed to using our talents and resources to impact the lives of others and make the world a better place.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue their passion.

We believe that everyone is entitled to a place that feels like home.

We believe in reusing and revitalizing furniture as a way to protect the environment.

We hope you will join us on this journey
